One of the first things you will need to do as you start building your new website is apply for the following licenses. Approval can take a few weeks.
Cross and Crown trademark
The Cross and Crown demonstrates the authenticity of your branch and its website. It also directly addresses the misconception which is prevalent on many websites that Christian Science is not Christian. Therefore I highly recommend that you consider including the Cross and Crown on your website.
A license is required which needs to be approved by the Christian Science Board of Directors. When you submit your application you will need a mockup of your website to include with your application, showing the placement of the trademark. I will send this to you for inclusion with your application.
The guidelines and a link to the form can be found here.
2. CSPS Internet Radio player (LICENSE NO LONGER REQUIRED)
The CSPS Internet Radio player updates automatically every week with fresh podcasts. These consist of the current Sentinel Watch episode, a testimony of healing, a TeenConnect article, and a Daily Lift.
As part of your online outreach to your community, the weekly podcast is a great way to increase traffic to your website each week. Online advertising can be used to promote certain episodes to your local community.
The Internet Radio player is free. As of late 2019 it also no longer requires a license. I can now load the CSPS Internet Radio player straight onto your website.
